Sunflowers....

These Sunflower Screens
were all hand-painted by me.
They remind me of sunshine
during all our gloomy, snowy
weather we been having here.
They have been painted
on various sizes of old screens.
Some with wood frames
& some are just thin screens
from newer windows.

These smaller screens are new
screens that I purchased at my Local
Menards Store. They come in various
sizes. These are ideal for hanging
on a door or if you have a
smaller space to display them.
These all have been hand painted using
DecoArt Acrylic Paints in
various shades of yellows & greens.
Thank You for stopping by to take
a look at my paintings.
Until next time!!

Hand Painted Snowman Screens....

Snowmen are my favorite thing
to paint. What can I say...
I just Love Snowmen!!
These were painted in
November & December for
custom order requests!!
I paint Snowmen year
 round' actually.

These are Old Window Screens.
I painted the frames also!

This one is painted on an
Old metal Vintage Sled...
 And this one on a
Vintage Creeper..
It takes me a long time to paint
one screen. Lots of Patience
& lots of paint!
It can take 6-9 coats of paint
for one screen. It depends on how
the customer wants it.
I seal everything with a clear
outdoor finish, so it can be
displayed indoors or outdoors.
most customers display them on
their deck or porch.
Thanks for stopping by &
taking a look!
Until next time!

We have had so much Snow here in
Wisconsin! I lost track of how many
inches total. Today is a sunny day.
we had 3 inches yesterday &
the weekend is supposed to bring
another 6-10 inches on Saturday.
I Love the snow, but I do not like to drive in it.
I usually can get one of my sons to drive
me to work, lol!
We were without internet for a few days
in between Snowstorms.
Lots of freezing rain too!
I'm going to try to Blog more.
I have started painting more, so I will
be sharing some of that with you!

& added greens for an
arrangement.
These 3 are painted on
Fence boards. They are

Fall & Other Things....

This time of year is my busiest
getting ready for the Fall Craft Shows
my Paint Brushes are going
at full speed.
Heres' just a few things that I
have been working on.
These Scarecrows I cut the head out
of wood, hand painted it, added the
hair & screwed to an old
garden tool such as a
 shovel or rake.
I screwed a thin piece of wood
to the garden tool for
the arms & slipped on a shirt
from the thrift store!

An Old window screen painted
with sunflowers...
Record Albums also painted
with sunflowers...
And an old metal folding
chair, also with sunflowers
