School let out on June 1st
for my 11 yr. old son Dawson.
We are 2 weeks in and all I hear is
"I'M BORED!"
So...the first week Dawson's Dad
took him out Fishin'...
Dawson caught some KEEPER'S!
And a few days later.....
His Dad took him out in the boat.....
Though Fishin' wasn't too good on this day...
they were able to relax
and soak up some Sun!!
Week 2 was a trip to a Near by Zoo...
This Zoo is only 23 miles from our House
and we Visit several times
throughout the year....

You can get a Handful of food
to feed the Goats and Sheep....
Giraffe...Black Bear...

Turtles...(Tortoises??)
And of course my Favorite Animal...
The Moose...
There are many more animals at this Zoo...
And when we take another trip back there, we
will share more.

I'm hearing "I'm bored" too a lot since school let out. Ugh....lol. It looks like you all had a good time and saw many animals. Thanks for sharing your photos.

I remember that days of my girls saying they were bored when school was out for the summer. Looks like he had a great time at the zoo.

I want to take the girls to the drive through/safari zoo this year.I've never been.Will definately need to wait for a day hubby can take us because I'll have no clue what to do if a wild animal jumps on the car.LoL..Looks like Dawson had fun.Warm Blessings!~Amy

Sandi it looks like Dawson had fun... and it was a great idea too. I've been itching to take Silas to our local zoo .....which isn't far but it seems like we're always busy. We have a nice aquarium too.
