Thrifty Makeover...

This project I made is not my idea.
I found the idea on Pinterest
and this is my version.

I found this Picture at the Goodwill
in their Clearance Section for $1.99.
Even though the Picture is not my style,
I Loved the Price and the Big
16x20 Frame.

After taking out the picture,
I cleaned up the frame a bit,
sanded it here and there and
grabbed a jar of my OOPS Paint

in a cream color and began painting.

After painting on 2 coats & letting
it dry for a few hours...
I sanded here and there & added
a coat of stain...

Next I cut a piece of chicken wire
and stapled it to the back of the frame.

Turned it around and I have a new
Memo Board.

This is my Cheap and thrifty makeover.
The frame was $1.99 from Goodwill.
The OOPS Paint I already had on hand
(I purchased it at Home Depot for .50 cents)
The roll of chicken wire I already had in my
Basement sitting in the corner for years.

Before and After...

  4. How clever!!! That is so cute:) I need one now. I use tape to put up all my important things to the back of my pantry door. It's a mess and very ugly. But this, this will work for me. TFS. -Steph-
