GIVEAWAY....

A few items...

that I've finished. I had some wooden eggs...I painted them white, sanded them here and there, then applied stain.  Then I took this wooden bowl I had, painted it this bluish color, sanded it and applied stain.  Added some grass and the eggs.

These are some wooden flowers  that I cut out of some scrap wood I had laying around. I painted them, sanded them, and then added some stain to finish them off.  I then added them to an enamel bowl I had. They make great bowl fillers.

Hello-

I have the weekend off!   Hopefully I will get something accomplished. Like the many unfinished projects that I have started.  LOL!

 I attended an 8 hr.  Dementia Seminar today for my job.  To further my knowledge with working with those who suffer from Dementia and Alzheimer's. It was very rewarding. 
  I work at a nursing home as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)  I have been doing this type of work for many years. I've been at my current job for 9 yrs and I can say that I Love my job. I Love my (elderly patients).  I probably spend more time with them than I do with my own family. My heart goes out to them and their families.

Hope to be back with some finished projects with in the next couple days!

Hello...I'm still here...

But didn't get much accomplished these last few days. I work 2nd shift,  2-10 p.m.  I came home from work exhausted last night.  About 12 a.m my 10 yr. old son woke me up and said he was not feeling well. So I was up all night with a sick child. Today is my day off, but my son is home from school (still sick). I have school conferences tonight...so I don't see myself getting to much accomplished. And I work the next 4 days, Fri-Mon. Oh, it would be nice to win the lottery and craft all day!  I suppose I should buy a ticket first. LOL

Bunnies & Rabbits...Oh My!!!

Hello Everyone-
    I just wanted to share some Bunnies and Rabbits that I got from Brenda, over at the Rusty Thimble. Brenda is certainly talented & does an amazing job!
There's 3 Bunny bowl fillers in a basket on top of the scale...then the Prim American Rabbit with the flag. (I just love this guy...he's adorable!)  And the Bunny with the cart I actually won on her sales blog give away.
